When I decided to leave corporate America and pursue real estate full-time it was one of the scariest decisions I had ever made. What I was looking for in a brokerage was a place where I felt supported, a place that I could grow and learn and one that believed there was enough room at the table for everyone, not just top producers. Cultivate embodies a culture that promotes unity, support and respect for one another without that sense of competition. These are all things that have helped create the agent that I am today. I am a firm believer that you must crawl before you walk and I knew that I would need to put in the work in order to have a firm foundation in this industry and with Nora and my fellow colleagues' guidance, love and support I was able to do just that

I’ve been with the Cultivate team since I started my real estate career. From the beginning, I was welcomed by a mentor who was driven to help me succeed in my new endeavor. Nora gave me hands-on training. She always showed me first and then allowed me to do it on my own, with her guiding me every step. Even as a new REALTOR, I felt confident that I could be successful because Nora and the entire Cultivate team were always there to support me. Whether it was walking me through writing my first few contracts or giving me ideas for ways to improve my sales and negotiation techniques, I’ve never once felt like I was on my own. Years later, I still feel the same support and encouragement from my brokerage. Thanks to everything I’ve learned through being coached by Nora and supported by my colleagues, I continue to celebrate my best year ever every single year.

In terms of culture Cultivate is really a place that takes support to the next level. Prior to selecting Cultivate Realty as my real estate brokerage I was at two other brokerage firms. Those each had things to offer but the missing for me personally was the right culture. It was very important to me to be in a place that is accepting, open to ideas, challenging (stretching you in your business so that you don’t get stagnant), encouraging, and a place where you could simply be yourself and know that you are welcome on the team. This is what led me to Cultivate and more importantly what makes me stay. Having a voice, being acknowledged and having comradery is a rare gem especially in the sales business and no one/company is doing it the way that Cultivate which is authentically.

I appreciate the camaraderie we have! Everyone is there for each other to answer questions, be supportive, or just listen. The agents love to gather together to brain storm, and discuss what's happening in the real estate market. We enjoy building relationships with clients and we are always striving to elevate customer experience!

I like and appreciate that Nora, our Broker makes herself available to answer any questions and to train us, and keeps us updated on anything real estate.
